Re: Mis-marked Pyrex bowl

I received a response from the Corning Ware Museum. She gave me several sites and references to check and she, herself, checked in various places. The ONLY one she could come up with was the same photo you had sent to me, so I am surprised they could not even provide another one in a photo that is t...

Re: Mis-marked Pyrex bowl

Thought I had replied and sent a response, but I don't see it here. Many possibilities as to how this happened. They may have caught it before many were processed or maybe caught it after hundreds. No way of knowing, but I do know when researching it there are none out there with the exception of th...

Re: Mis-marked Pyrex bowl

Well, that is some information at least to understand how it even happened. Not a unicorn, but not knowing when they discovered the error hard to say, like you said, how many went through. Still a one of a kind to me as I searched and there are not many out there. Maybe many were produced, but not m...

Oh, sorry, forgot you asked the size. It is a 2-1/2 quart size.

No, it is a 403 which is stamped on the bottom. The pattern is the same on both sides.

Re: Mis-marked Pyrex bowl

Ok, yes! like the top bowl of that set. I could not open the link you had sent. It froze up. That is the first one I have seen. But this is just a regular bowl. Not the Cinderella. I am trying to post a photo, but am not real certain how to do it on this site as I am new to it. That is not a real co...

Re: Mis-marked Pyrex bowl

HI, Thanks for your reply. I saw that on that page referring to the 441. No, this one is just a regular bowl like many you see. It is Number 3 and Model Number 14. The stamp on the bottom looks quite old. Not raised as high as many others I have held. I have yet come across one like it. I have searc...

Mis-marked Pyrex bowl

Hi, If anyone is there, I have a question. I am new to Pyrex and found a bowl recently. It is in the Butterprint pattern in the turquoise blue on white. Usually the farmer is the man is to the left (when you are looking at the bowl) and the lady is to the right. On this bowl the order is just the op...
