It seems that since government contracts were involved both companies got to continue production. Anchor Hocking continued production after Pyrex s...

Re: News Report About Pyrex at CMOG

Doug, How about the Corning plant pieces? Some of them were on Commercial Tableware shapes, often #709 mugs and #708 bowls. Especially from the Charleroi plant for the annual Christmas party and family day in June.

Re: News Report About Pyrex at CMOG

Interesting. Marcia posted a photo of her booth and another one too on facebook the day of the seminar and sale. I like and use the household Pyrex, but my love is the Commercial Tableware.

Re: News Report About Pyrex at CMOG

Marcia is very nice. I know her through facebook. When we were in Corning last June, we visited the store were her booth is located. We weren't able to meet up, though.

Doug was there any Commercial Tableware offered there?

Re: Pyrex Commercial Tableware (restaurant ware)

I have one of the Dept. of Ag. plates too. I think they were presentation pieces. They only seem to come in the one size. That ebay price seems high. Got mine in a trade. The medical Dept. plate is the only one that I've ever seem. It might be a test piece. I also collect and sell china restaurantwa...

I also have two patterns from the Strategic Air Command, and Pacific Air Forces. The military tableware is one of the few areas that I'...

Also, I forgot to mention that one of my favorite customized patterns is the Bradford House pattern from W.T. Grants department Store chain.
