Unopened boxes help request
My wife and I are cleaning out her father's garage and found two unopened Pyrex boxes: One 9 cup percolator (7759) and one oval casserole (945-19-M). There are snowflakes on the casserole box, but no stated indication of color. I haven't been able to find any reference online to 945-19-M and we're curious about just what we have before we risk opening the still-sealed box. Can anyone fill in some of the blanks for here? Please and thank you!
Re: Unopened boxes help request
19 is the color code for turquoise. Since turquoise snowflake could only be turquoise on opal white or the reverse, it would have to be one or the other. I'm thinking it should be the latter. M indicates the cradle, also known as a "mounter".

Thank you!
Looks like the M in this case indicates an included ovenmitt.

Re: Unopened boxes help request
Really? An oven mitt in the sealed box? Photos?
Re: Unopened boxes help request
Took a while to get it to accept the attachment.
And after you interpreted the color code, I realized the box itself is likely indicative of the item's color.
Thanks again for your help and interest.

Oh man...I wish we could see what the oven mitt looked like. I wonder if it is this one?

Really doubtful a promo from the 50s-60s would have a mitt with an 80s logo.

I guess so..plus it's not a mitt. My bad...I found this one, probably something similar. It doesn't seem to match the pattern.

Ooo... Good cross-reference. You're right. There are some obvious similarities there, although the plastic baggie it comes in looks pretty anachronistic alongside the rest of this classic americana. I wonder if the mitt's print will end up being a match to the dish or if they'd already started doing the approach of "throw this one in there, it kinda looks like it goes with the rest" as they seem to have done with that yellow one.
