Vintage Pyrex

I recently purchased a vintage white Pyrex mixing bowl, but having trouble dating it..It has PYREX arched in big letter with the circle R under it, and Made In Usa...No other info on it

Does not sound typical. You can compare it to those on this page: http://www.pyrexcollector.com/dating.php but none of those have the word Pyrex arched. A photo would help.
