Pyrex Tea Pot

Post by MDFraley » Sun Mar 18, 2018 8:24 am

I just acquired a Pyrex Tea Pot yesterday and posted it on Instagram in hopes that someone would help I.D. it. I'm thinking it is a very old piece according to the logo which looks like dollar signs.
I'm posting a few pics so if anyone can help tie down a date I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

The "squat" teapot appears to date from ~ 1926 to ~ 1935. The switch to a pressed glass manufacturing process around the end of that period probably explains its disappearance. Numbers 22, 24, and 26 corresponded to 2, 4, and 6 cup capacities. The metal lid and tea ball were likely third party accessories, perhaps added by a third party engraver.
