My first Pyrex purchase

Have you ever had that moment when you were innocently walking along a store aisle and suddenly that something special catches your eye? You stop in your tracks and hold your breath a moment...staring at that wonderful thing. Today that happened. I have a set of 1950's clear glass pyrex I inherited along with a set of sapphire blue fire-king. I love them and finally purchased my own piece to add to my collection today. A lovely mint condition 2.5 qt Friendship pattern pyrex bowl. There are no scratches inside or out and not a mar or fade on the pattern. What luck!

Friendship is a popular pattern to collect. It wasn't produced all that long, so finding the pieces you want in good condition can often be difficult and more costly than other longer-lived patterns. But it's worth it.
