Cosmopolitan food warmer

Post by Bonnie Scott »

I found this at the thrift store the other day and I think it is the warmer that came with the cosmopolitan Pyrex. The surface was stained badly but a little BKF and a lot of scrubbing got the stains out. The plastic stick on wood veneer that goes around the outside edge is starting to curl but I think I can glue it back down. Do you think this is the right warmer? It says Cosmopolitan but not Pyrex? I ask because the pattern on the surface is different from the dish.

It appears "Cosmopolitan" was used by Salton on more warmers than just the one that came with the Pyrex Cosmopolitan sets, which I have always seen with the concentric circle pattern on it. Of course, you know what happens when you say "always" and Pyrex in the same breath...
