I don't think so, but it was still a feel good moment. It's so nice when a spur of the moment stop pays off. I keep thinking I will find the lid for the UFO hiding there, saw one sold for way too much on ebay last week.

I'm thinking if it had been some of the JAJ green gooseberry it would have trumped the balloons. I like those green ones. The ones that sold on ebay recently were too DWD.

I set out to the thrift stores to find a lid that would fit an old Le Creuset pan I have and I came home with these. I got the lid for my pan, a fully marked Ozark round griddle and this Pink Daisy space saver, all for a whopping $3.29. :P I traced the Le Creuset on a piece of paper so it was easy to find the right size. It should clean up nicely.

I found a chip and dip bracket today. It didn't have a price tag on it so the clerk told me I couldn't buy it and that they would price it and put it out for sale tomorrow. :x I shop there all the time so I politely said OK but that's not what my brain was saying. In my head it was a little more like Homer Simpson throttling Bart's throat.

This is what the bracket looks like. I am not sure if it's for Pyrex or Fire King?

The balls under the arms make me think it was for a glass bowl with a thin rim, so not Pyrex.

Green Gooseberries > Balloons
I love that shade of green! (And I already have balloons)

In the last 5 days I've found the Golden Acorn promo and the Snowflake divided dish at the local Goodwill.

Hi Jay, it's good to hear from you. I really like your Poinsettia dish, it's pretty. Congratulations on your engagement. Your Scotland pictures are lovely.

I thought I had enough Pyrex dinnerware but couldn't pass up a 28 piece matching set. Now I have to figure out the pattern name. I also found 4 of the green stripe bowl.

Good luck. According to the 1971 Pyrex tableware catalog, it's a custom pattern, shown alongside others, but it doesn't say for whom.

Edit: Apparently, it's "Tiburon".
