Hi all,
I have a gaiety bowl with some ribbing-like effect which I've not come across before. I've attached a couple of photos and was hoping someone might be tell me if this bowl has a name?
Thanks in advance,
Mark

The 1959 JAJ catalog linked here:
http://exhibitdb.cmog.org/opacimages/Im ... 130338.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
pg. 4 shows something quite similar in undecorated clear glass called a souffle dish. Only an illustration drawing, though. The snowflake decoration would be from that timeframe.
The listing here would appear to indicate it was available in snowflake on opal:
https://thatretropiece.com/2016/03/29/snowflake/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This Australian site is probably your best resource for JAJ.

That's great thanks Doug, very much appreciated!

I wrote Stan at That Retro Piece. He replied:
"These were available in a limited number of patterns in JAJ's opal range."
and included a photo he had of the same dish.
