Pyrex Hunting Today

Post by Doug D. »

Lots to see. :D All a tad over-priced (IMO). :(

The first 10 photos were all at the same place, the first 9 apparently the same vendor (everything marked "firm").

What did I buy? Yep, another yellow 404.

Well, an older, "no number" 4 quart, actually. I'd rate it 9.9/10 on condition.

I can't see the pictures :( My computer says a plug in is needed to display content? I can see the yellow bowl and it looks much nicer than the many ones I have seen while hunting. It must be one of the first made to be lacking a mark?

My son told me he could install a plug-in for me. He said it will take a while so I guess I won't see the pics tonight. Bummer, it was a long hard day at work, some eye candy would be nice. :-(

The fourth picture on the yellow shelf, top shelf, on top of the butterfly casserole. What is it? I don't recognize the shape or the pattern. Mystery....I tried zooming and still don't have a clue.

It's not Pyrex. Some piece of F-K or Glasbake, I assume.

Edit: It looks like Glasbake, and I think the pattern is fleur de lis.

I found a picture of a blue fluer de lis glasbake frigie on pinterest. It is definitely a rare pattern. I like the ones no one else has. I can't find a photo of a gold one, other than your photo.

It's a jester's hat. :D Being a Scot, I am most partial to the Glasbake blue Thistle. I gave my daughter a lasagna pan I found and I think she really likes it.
