I have one of the Dept. of Ag. plates too. I think they were presentation pieces. They only seem to come in the one size. That ebay price seems high. Got mine in a trade.


The medical Dept. plate is the only one that I've ever seem. It might be a test piece. I also collect and sell china restaurantware. Almost every RW manuacturer made medical dept. china, so who knows.

I've got some of those too. Michael Bsarber & I have a lead that they're from the Daniel Webster restaurant near Boston, Mass.

I was guessing they were from the Disney World resort in Florida.

The shape of the D and the W are very similar to this vintage logo from the 70s seen here.

I'm thinking any initials Disney World uses would typically be WDW.

Jeff, I fried some green tomatoes last night and you can see my daily dishes in the picture. They are Fire King. Do you happen to know what they are called?

The AH/FK equivelent to Copper Filligree is Allentown.

Copper Filigree / Allentown
Undecorated / Anchor White
