Now Doug has me looking at Pyrex... Took a boo around the antique malls, lots of it around for decent prices.

Time to learn. Any hard and fast rules to pyrex or just jump in and learn?

It can be whatever you want it to be: what you like the look of, what you actually want for use, collecting complete sets, finding the rare and unusual, etc. Like with the CI, the basics are mostly all covered on the main site.

And for those day trips where you come up empty on CI, you can usually come home with some Pyrex to make up for it.

A lot of people, including myself, love the blue delphite dishware that was made in Canada. It's getting hard to find. Doug focuses his research on US Pyrex but there is a lot of beautiful Pyrex that was made in Canada.

I am actually quite scared to get into pyrex at the moment, the GF would probably beat me senseless.


Seems to be lots of pyrex kicking around, if I do start into it, it'll be more value related.
