Re: All white with gold band nesting mixing bowl set.
This set of bowls and some other similarly decorated opal glass bakeware were marketed as an adjunct to Corning Crown dinnerware in 1958 and for a couple of years thereafter. (Not to be confused with Australian Crown Corning Pyrex.) It is rarely seen likely due to its having been marketed via a door...

Re: Antique Store Find in Upstate New York
When speaking of collectible Pyrex, the focus is primarily on consumer kitchenware (bowls, casseroles, etc.) produced 1945 to the mid-1980s, so items such as this one are only of casual interest. Corning would have only supplied the Pyrex glass insert for the dispenser to Cecil as a custom order. A ...

Re: Sunshine backstamp
See: https://www.pyrexcollector.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=148 By "it's rare" I meant the rose colored bowl and cover, not the backstamp. Hard to say the significance of the circle of Ts, if that's what they are. Some look like a capital "I" when others on the same piece look like...

I've seen a photo of the backstamp but can't make out a model number on it. Is there one?

Re: Willow Pattern
According to Dots & Diamonds (see www.thatretropiece.com) the pattern (on clear dinnerware) was introduced in 1934, and other verbiage seems to indicate was produced until 1939. It was at first just etched into the glass with no color applied, then etched and enameled, and finally just applied v...

On a PC, the option is in the left column. On a mobile device or tablet, it is under "filter".

Re: Hello!
The standard answer is to check eBay "sold" listings (not just "completed") to determine a realistic average. If in unused condition (paint unscratched and shiny), those particular bowls in that pattern usually go for well north of $100 per set. Original box adds value.

Re: Which Lid 024?
The 1968 Pineapple promo came with a cradle and a 624 knob top lid. A couple years later, it was sold as a special with just a 684 utility lid. The avocado green 024 with utility lid was also sold as a special at the same time. A some point, a bright green and a poppy red 024 were sold as singles, a...

There are different colors that fit the 475. The correct for this one is black.
