I don't recognize this pattern. Is that the real name?

Atomic starburst?
Re: Atomic starburst?
A test piece, maybe, but not salesman's sample. Undersides of the handles seem odd. Or maybe UK or Australian? Herb Dann said a lot of the rarities you see are test pieces or mistakes that should have been destroyed, but ended up in someone's garage for years and then got loose.

It almost appears as though the logo has been removed, the place where it should be seems different from the rest of the bottom or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.

I believe this is a standard or promotional pattern. Hard to find, but not rare.

I don't know if it's the dark color or what, but there appear to be some sharp edges on the handles and thereabouts I don't see on any of my oval casseroles. Also, the black is glossy, unlike the usual charcoal matte. Mexican, maybe?

I talked to Jessica about it, she says she has seen it before. I've been trying to decorate my living room in mid century modern and I know it's really hot right now and therefore hard to find anything atomic starburst. I have looked through the Agee and Crown patterns and haven't found it. I just spotted one on pinterest, they are calling it "New Mexico". This one is gold

I had looked for it on Meg's site, but didn't see it in any color.
