2nd opinion please
I was out hunting today and I came across an old Corning pie plate. It was a really thick, deep dish pie plate with the glass blower logo. It was labelled as a military pie dish. They were asking $25 for it. I have never seen one before, what do you think? Is $25 to much?

Looks like I answered my own question, I found this one on ebay, lots of lookers but no buyers.

I've seen old gaffer logo plates for as little as $2. Depends on what it's worth to you, I guess. One on eBay for $10 plus more than that for shipping.

I passed on the pie dish but I found this set for $8, 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates and 4 cups and saucers. They match the set I already have and are in better condition.

My other set is packed away under the house. I noticed today that my rack will hold an 8 piece setting. I think the bowls stack under the cups. Yes, I am showing off my rack.

It's on page #8, 1955 Pyrex dealer catalog.

I like how it says under the Flamingo dishes that the cups were used to pound in 3 inch nails.

I found one of the old glass blower deep dish pie plates today for $1. I'm glad I passed on the $25 one. I also found a lime green platter which is the first platter I have found in the wild.
